Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro There's no denying the concept for this book is both haunting and gripping in equal measure. The most captivting part is probably the way it's written in such a matter of fact tone, when in reality the issues faced are troubling, yet not to the characters who are facing them. A really emotional read, and a sort of journey as well. I think I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, the one flaw being that the way in which it's written, the narration, can get a bit carried away with itself and feels at times like it needs a pause to take a breath. Otherwise brilliant.
