Mercy - Jodi Picoult The main part of this book I liked was the characters, and throughout the book you come to care about what will happen to each of them, and how the relationships will work out. I was a bit surprised to find that was the focus of the book, given the title and the premise, and that more of the story wasn't focussed on the situation on which the story is centred around, but looking at the characters in depth was a way to compare the situation to each of them and whether they would be able to do the same, which was effective. I was gripped all the way through, and it was definitely one of the more enjoyable of her books, but I felt like it needed a little bit more in way of a conclusion. 3.5 stars.
