The Hidden Child - Camilla Läckberg I love detective fiction, it's one of my favourite genres to read but for the most part I read British detective fiction, and so I was keen to branch out when I was lent this book. And I thoroughly enjoyed it! The story was brilliantly written and the characters stories were compelling. The book runs the story of the present day murder investigation alongside the events of the past, during the second World War. The technique was extremely effective leaving you curious as to the mysteries of both time frames, and by the last 100 pages as everything begins to surface it's simply un-put-downable. I'd definitely search out more books by this author.
