I absolutely loved "Sister" so had to pick this book up when I saw it. This story focuses on the aftermath of a school fire, and the lives of those who were wrapped up in the events. Told from Grace's point of view as she narrates what happened to her husband (if you've read "Sister" you'll be used to the author's second person narration, which is just as effective here). The author conjures up a great ensemble of characters, each with their own hidden agendas and flaws, that keep you constantly guessing about what really happened on the day of the fire. The twists and turns surprised me all the way through and the story was so tightly woven together. Even by the end I had no idea what to expect which I loved.
