Matched tells the story of Cassia, who lives in a society where who she spends the rest of her life with is chosen for her, and each aspect of her life is controlled by "officials". It's a great dystopian story, and sticks to the teen dystopian template but that doesn't mean it's a predictable read. The concept and plot are both brilliant and gripping. Cassia is a fascinating main character who really makes the story what it is as she develops and becomes more aware of the world she lives in. I can't wait to read the next installment of the series!
