This has to be one of, if not, my favourite Jodi Picoult book. I thought the story was brilliant, I loved the characters themselves and the story. The music therapy was so interesting and captivating to read about, leaving me wanting to know more about that field. But there was a much more important message within this book, I believe the book as a whole spoke that message brilliantly. I hope this is a book that makes a difference to people's lives and breaks down barriers because I believe it has the potential to do so. At the end of the day, it's a love story, and a beautiful one at that. I loved the two central characters of Zoe and Vanessa. You have to mention the soundtrack to the book as well which is a stroke of genius, and which reflected the mood and themes of the book perfectly and most certainly added to the experience. Wonderful book.
